Paper Only Zone

This is how far I've got with the new novel.  (Well, new novel take 2, as new novel take 1 foundered after a week.)  And this weekend I'm going away to really see if this one will fly.  I'm not taking a computer or tablet, just paper, and I'm going to try to see if 20-odd pages of questions and snippets of information and middle of the night scribblings can really start to resemble a plot.  We shall see ...

Wish me luck!

Ex Libris Book Fair

I said, "I'm taking your picture - look entrepreneurial!"

Comics, postcards and mini posters -

(Good thing he brought lots - a pleasing number of sales ensued.  Well done, Thomas Heitler, artist and salesman!)

The Sea and the Sleepers

26 Lies and 26 Steps

The last two 26 projects I've been part of have been family affairs: for 26 Lies, I collaborated with son Thomas, and son Jamie did the walk with me for 26 Steps.  Thanks guys!

You can see my photo, map and poem for 26 Steps here.

You can see my words and Thomas' illustration (at an easier to see size) for 26 Lies here, and also, if you're in London, they are on display as part of the 26 Lies exhibition at the Free Word Centre, until 28th October.  Take a photo for us if you get there - it's a bit of a trek from Fife!

NOBODY likes to watch/listen to themselves ...

... and I'm no exception.  But I'm a professional, right?  And we have to do these things.  So, deep breath and let's begin ...
