Over the Finish Line, After the Crowds Have Left

I finished Napowrimo on Thursday 5 May.  Okay, for a challenge that was supposed to be completed in April (30 poems in 30 days) I stretched things a little.

Now my plan is to let the dust settle for a bit and then revisit them.  See what, if any, cream has risen to to the top.  Because scum never rises, as we know.

Meantime, anyone for a game of mixed metaphors?
