Poem on the Floor
My last BOOKMARK event was the Opening of Past Present Future at Perth Museum and Art Gallery, which was in celebration of a number of projects - but nobody else got displayed all over the floor! It's the collage poem I made out of phrases and lines from each of the written pieces selected for the Place Settings anthology and it looked AMAZING! It must have taken FOREVER to do - each letter is fixed to the parquet somehow - filling the whole huge room. Impossible to photograph adequately, but here are my attempts, and a few of authors standing by their words -
Paul Mouncey, Janine Kain, Jean Squires, Angela Jeffs, Mary McDougall - and all the rest - I salute you!

Brilliant! Love it! But go easy on the floor wax :-)
So looking forward to seeing it next week. Looks terrific in your pics. The real thing will be living and breathing - all over the shiny parquet.
Wonderful, brilliant idea!
How wonderful! I'd thought the words were projected at first glance. Well done to you and all involved in the project.
