She's called "The Foundling Girl" (1871) by David Watson Stevenson and I've blogged about how I met her on The History Girls - challenged and chuffed in equal measure!
I live and write in the Kingdom of Fife, overlooking the River Tay, with a view of trees and grey slate roofs and a skyscape it would be hard to better.

Wow! This is great.
I'd love to know her story and am wondering if there's a poem on the way...
So easily overlooked at first glance tucked to the side of the door ... Was she a genuine foundling child? Is there any known history about her?
I'm trying to learn more - a fascinating place to study!
