Photo Essay - 9-13th July 2012 - Charney Manor and the V & A
(Short on the right words for such an intense week, but it also doesn't seem right to not tip the time a nod, so this is my compromise. Please perceive metaphors at your own discretion.
I recognise the rose against Charney's ancient wall, and the SAS gathered in the solar - but what an amazing shot of a dog! And those bowls! Wow! Hope you had a good time post-Charney
The leaping lurcher is part of a photo by Fay Godwin in this tiny but perfectly formed photography exhibition at the V & A that I saw - and the first bowl is from the Japanese exhibit and the coloured glass sculpture is the modern bit of the Glass Exhibit. Such fabulous stuff everywhere you looked!
I live in the Kingdom of Fife, on the River Tay. The Kingdom is thought to be shaped like a dog's head. If this is so, my flat is just on the tip of the ear, which explains a lot. I have a husband, four tall sons, and one short cat. I was born in Canada and have lived in Scotland since 1978.

Cor! We like the dog pic. A picture speaks a thousand words it is said - presumably by someone illiterate. :-D
